Spring 2010 Campaign Kickoff Saturday, May 1, 2010 The Skeet Club St. Augustine, Florida 32095
The Planning Committee for our annual event has picked up three new volunteers who will be attending a fund raising meeting on Friday, March 12th at 4:00 PM. We need many more volunteers to become involved in this our major fund raising event for 2010 and, where possible, all Democrats are urged to attend this meeting tomorrow at the Democratic Headquarters, 142B King St., St. Augustine. If you are unable to attend, please give us a call and we will find an opportunity for you.
Assistance is requested in the planning and coordination of the various activities for both the outdoor/daytime and/or indoor evening events. Volunteers are needed to work in the following areas:
Outdoor Field Day Events 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
1. Set up, Decoration, and Clean up 2. Sell Tickets for hot dogs and drinks 3. Handle Tickets for the hotdog and snack stand; 4. Obtain musicians/bands & coordinate their schedule; 5. Supervise and coordinate the outdoor games and activities; 6. Sale of advertisements for our program 7. Procuring sponsors for the event (you, too, can be a sponsor!) 8. Procuring items for the Silent Auction - talk to your local stores and restaurants for gift baskets and vouchers 9. Assistance in solicitation of paying vendors ($25) 10. Assistance in solicitation of service organizations, (no charge when not selling items) 11. Distribution of Flyers and publicizing event 12. Volunteers, volunteers, volunteers
Indoor Evening Events: 400 to 8:00 P.M

We have need of the many talented and resourceful Democrats amongst us to assist with this annual fund raising event in order to make it a success and provide the money to support our Democratic candidates in this important election year.
