Democrats to show Robert Reich film “Inequality for All on February 19

Secretary of Labor in the Clinton administration, Robert B. Reich is currently the Chancellor’s Professor of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley and a Senior Fellow at the Blum Center for Developing Economies. Time Magazine named him one of the ten most effective cabinet secretaries of the twentieth century. In addition to the thirteen books that he has authored, Reich has produced the film “Inequality for All”, directed by Jacob Kornbluth.
The St. Johns Democratic Party will offer a fundraiser viewing of “Inequality for All” on Wednesday, February 19 at the Corner Bar, adjacent to Gypsy Cab Company, 828 Anastasia Boulevard. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM prior to the showing of the film at 7:30 PM. There will be a moderated open discussion about this interesting topic after the viewing.
Advance reservations can be made by calling Democratic headquarters 904-825-2336 or stopping by the office at 142B King St. in St. Augustine. Reservations are required to attend and to pre-order the dinner choice of: Texas Beef Brisket, Eggplant Parmegiana, and Gypsy Chicken. A cash bar will be available during the evening. Payment of the $35 charge per person can be made by check payable to the Democratic Party (no cash, please) or through the PayPal account below or on the website at www.stjohnsdemocraticparty.org/contributions.html
Reich states: “The movie is critically important. It exposes the heart of our economic problem. Something that has been getting worse and worse for over 30 years. Widening Inequality… One of the best ways to understand the challenges we face, is with a movie that can grab an audience and move them to action. This film will do exactly that.”
